To us, being able to produce a craft drink where natural ingredients and the craft itself can take center stage, is the heart of the production of our Sparkling Tea.
When you, as a small player, compete with the big giants who dominate the market, the love for the product and the desire to offer a delicious drink to the consumer becomes a major driving force. We want to create drinks that are as appealing as a glass of Champagne, as enjoyable as a glass of wine with food, and as festive as a pair of sparkly sequined shoes!
Pettersson & Munthe’s philosophy is to work with only natural ingredients, no artificial additives, flavor enhancers or refined sugar. Working with natural ingredients is complex and can produce small differences in colour, structure and taste for each production round. Therein lies the genuine craftsmanship and complexity – to carefully process ingredients to achieve the desired balance of taste, appearance and experience.

Pettersson & Munthe consists of the entrepreneurial duo Karin Pettersson and Caroline Munthe Mossvall. Based on Gotland, they have been running their company together since 2020, where the focus is currently on their first product on the market: Sparkling Tea by PoM.
The idea for Sparkling Tea was born during a dinner on a warm summer evening in 2019. Karin and Caroline ended up in a discussion about the range of non-alcoholic drinks. Karin was pregnant at the time and strongly felt that there was a gap in the market when it came to natural, balanced and sophisticated drinks to choose from.
